The Process of
Flooring Installation
LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) and LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) flooring installation
- Trim will be removed if applicable
- Existing flooring will be removed and disposed of if applicable
- Subfloor will be prepped (staples pulled, high spots planed or ground down, low spots filled by using self leveling concrete)
- Underlayment will be used depending on product specifications and type of substrate being floored over
- LVP and LVP will be laid according to manufacturer specifications
- Trim will be added or replaced if applicable. In cases where trim is not removed shoe moulding (quarter round) will be added around perimeter with nail holes filled and sanded, followed by painting
