The Process of
Doors & Trim
- If appropriate new trim and doors installed
- Cleaning to remove any built up grime, dust, and hand oils
- Sanding
- Priming if appropriate (dependent on condition of doors or trim and previous product used). Raw wood will always be primed if getting painted
- Scuff sand and clean after priming
- Filling and sanding of nail holes and imperfections if necessary, followed by sanding and cleaning
- Caulking of any gaps
- One to three topcoats of top quality trim paint will be applied in sheen of clients choice
