Bryce Cauchy was born and raised in Traverse City. He attended Traverse City Saint Francis, West Junior High, and Central High School. He attended Michigan State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture.

After college Bryce moved to Chicago to work for The Brickman Group, one of the largest landscaping firms in the country, where he managed landscaping crews and did project direction for large commercial properties and municipalities.

In 2009, Bryce moved back to Traverse City where he owned and operated a landscaping business for several years. In 2016, he transitioned to a more construction-focused field, working for Paul Maurer General Contracting, a premiere custom home builder in their home renovation division. There, Bryce learned all aspects of the construction process as the co-manager/Field Manager of the Home Services division. He managed projects, staff, contractors, as well as got his hands dirty in the field working as a remodeler and painter.

After developing his skills in painting, refinishing, and woodwork, Bryce decided to concentrate on professional painting full time, working for an established painting company in the TC area, True Color Painting. In 2021, Bryce went out on his own, creating Bryce’s Painting, which focuses on doing detail-oriented work with the highest quality products for residential and commercial clients. His approach is to take one project at a time, giving clients his full attention, practicing reliability and expert-level workmanship in all the components of each project.
